Asteroids now spawn in the world. Enter them to discover the riches they hold.
On the asteroid surface, look for loose rocks to destroy for ores and minerals.
Take missions to gain cash and items. Some missions will improve the standing with a certain factions (or may hurt your reputation).
New 3d surfaces. Fly above a molten planet and watch the rolling waves of lava.
Hire wingmen to protect yourself and accomplish missions.
New reputation system allows for better perks with other factions such as repairs and better mercenaries at their settled planets.
New reputation system also accounts for a bad standing with a faction. Besides closing off services to the player, factions will attack and put out assassinations on the player.
New map menu has been added to show all surrounding planets, asteroids, and sectors owned by other factions. The map will expand the further you explore the galaxy.
